Antwone Mohammed is a visionary systems builder, trusted community leader, and dedicated hometown advocate with a global reach. A proud Savannah native, Antwone stands at the intersection of heritage and innovation, where tradition meets transformation. As President of African American Shared Enterprise, LLC (AASE), his mission is to catalyze Black economic power locally, nationally, and globally by forging strategic bridges between communities once divided by history but now united by opportunity.

A Certified Protocol Officer and respected professional in public administration and international trade, Antwone currently serves as the Programs and Community Development Manager at World Trade Center Savannah (WTCSav). There, he leads global education programs, cultivates business partnerships, manages board relations, and directs the year-round internship program that launched his own career.

Antwone’s journey began at Savannah State University (SSU), where he earned both a B.S. in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. It was at SSU that he was first introduced to the world of trade and diplomacy through a student internship with WTCSav.

But beyond titles and positions, Antwone is driven by a higher calling: to turn the legacy of slavery, colonization, and underdevelopment into a movement of innovation, ownership, and shared prosperity for Black people across the globe. He often speaks of “zero-point potential”, the place of seeming stillness before a great shift. He believes that Black communities, historically positioned at this point of forced pause, now carry the greatest untapped momentum for progress, justice, and economic self-determination.

Antwone’s impact radiates across the local and global spectrum. He chairs the Greater Savannah International Alliance, ensuring that Savannah remains a forward-facing, inclusive city on the world stage. He is also an active board member of the Savannah Council on World Affairs, Senior Citizens, Inc., and the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Young Leaders Board, where he serves on the Race, Equity, and Opportunity Committee. As former Board President of IVolunteer International, Antwone advanced the mission of empowering youth leadership and civic participation on a global scale.

The Why Behind AASE

African American Shared Enterprise, LLC is more than a company — it’s a calling. AASE was founded to activate the long-dormant economic power of Black people, especially those in the United States and across the African Diaspora. Antwone believes deeply that strategic collaboration, cultural self-determination, and community-driven enterprise are the keys to long-term liberation and legacy-building.

From the historic ports of Savannah to potential partnerships across the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa, AASE is designed to help Black entrepreneurs, investors, and visionaries unlock new pathways to sustainable development. Antwone’s leadership ensures that this mission is not abstract, but actionable, carried out with professionalism, protocol, and purpose.

“We are writing a living blueprint. We are building tomorrow—today!”
